2023 HACKATHON SYSTEMATIC TRADING GAME

This event is an exciting 1-day Hackathon for STEM students, where participants will work on a systematic trading game developed by Morgan Stanley Quantitative Finance employees. By working with industry experts and under the guidance of a Morgan Stanley mentor, you'll be able to build on your skills, expand your knowledge and gain an insight into how Trading and Technology blend together.

We are committed to creating a welcoming environment for all our attendees to learn and create together. What we need from you is knowledge of Python, your enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn. Please note this event is invitation only and successful applicants will be informed ahead of time.

Eligibility Requirements

• You are a Master or PhD student with a background in a STEM related discipline graduating in 2024, studying at a university within EMEA
• You are interested in exploring a career in Quantitative Finance and Quantitative Trading
• You enjoy solving complex problems that require deep analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis
• You have advanced knowledge of Python
• You are collaborative, adaptable, a quick learner, a multi-tasker and possess a strong work ethic.
